Benevent-l'Abbaye is a French commune located west of the department of Creuse, in the region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It is located northeast of Limoges (55 km). This village included in 2016 797 inhabitants, they are called Beneventines. Benevent Abbey is the first "Small City of Character" in Limousin. This small village is on the pilgrimage route of Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, it is a must stop for its abbey.
