Audio tour Summary
Welcome to the Cathedral Village. On this walking tour I’m going to take you to the Wascana Creek, where you’ll hear a story about the 1971 flood. I'll tell you about a love story that happened in a shoe store here in 1960, you’ll hear about a community that tried to save a mural painted by Saskatchewan Métis artist Bob Boyer. I’m going to show you a hidden spot where bands played in the basement of a used bookstore. We’ll visit the Connaught Library, learn some historical trivia and get to know some of the people who live and work here, including a graffiti artist, and Olga who’s kind of famous for her pies.
