    Stretching for 62 km along the banks of the Canale Maestro della Chiana, this traffic-free, fully-equipped pedestrian and cycleway runs across the Valdichiana from Chiusi to Arezzo. This virtually flat, natural track runs along the route of the old canal maintenance path road and is ideal for cycling and walking alike. The track meanders through the Valdichiana running within walking distance from several interesting historical and ladscape sights, including the lakes of Chiusi and Montepulciano, the Callone di Valiano, the Botte dello Strozzo, near Farneta, the Colmata di Brolio, the Zorés bridge, the Galleria Allacciante (junction canal), the Chiusa (sluice) dei Monaci, the Ponte (bridge) di Pratantico. As it takes them on a fascinating journey through olive groves, vineyards, wine estates old watermills and archaeological sites, the sentiero affords visitors a fantastic insight into lesser-known parts and aspects of the Valdichiana.
